Research Analyst (Junior / Senior)

Galaxy Digital is seeking experienced researchers to join their Research team, covering the digital assets ecosystem for internal and external clients. The role is based in their NYC headquarters.

Galaxy is a digital asset and blockchain leader helping institutions, startups, and individuals access and navigate the crypto economy.

What this role involves:

• Analyzing major public blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana and associated ecosystems.
• Developing and nurturing relationships and partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Identifying and pursuing research topics independently and/or as part of an assigned effort.
• Leveraging on-chain and market data to generate unique and insightful research content for internal and external distribution.
• Serving as a thought leader on various crypto topics and consult with internal and external clients.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of professional experience working in financial services or technology
• Strong, existing knowledge of cryptocurrency networks, markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
• Capability to self-direct and drive projects with minimal supervision, effectively managing time and resources to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
• Independently create reports from ideation and formulation to completion and publishing
• Skills in technical research, data science, financial analysis & modeling
• Experience using block explorers and crypto-related data visualization tools (e.g., Dune, Flipside, Nansen, Footprint Analytics)
