Lending Associate, New York

Job Description

Galaxy is seeking a Lending Associate to join their team in New York. The Lending Associate will assist with the management and day-to-day operations of the lending business and portfolio. They will also assist with counterparty credit analysis, loan exposure and risk management, and market risk analysis. The Lending Associate will manage and facilitate counterparty-facing interactions with Sales and Operations teams, drive process improvements, and partner with teams across the firm. They will also assist with treasury asset and cash liquidity to support day-to-day business operations across the firm and manage detailed data and reporting.Role involves:

• Assisting with management and day-to-day operations of lending business and portfolio
• Assisting with counterparty credit analysis, loan exposure and risk management, and market risk analysis
• Managing and facilitating counterparty-facing interactions with Sales and Operations teams
• Driving process improvements and partner with teams across the firm
• Assisting with treasury asset and cash liquidity to support day-to-day business operations across the firm
• Managing detailed data and reporting

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree (STEM/Finance a plus)
• Excel/modeling skills
• Finance or math background
• Fluent in English
