Clutch Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, National Production to lead their Inspection and Reconditioning Centers (IRCs) across Canada. The Senior Director will oversee the largest IRC, managing a team of 50+ individuals and ensuring high-quality vehicle reconditioning. This role will maintain team culture, uphold high standards, and ensure the facility meets quality, production, and cost objectives.Responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategic planning for Clutch nationwide
  • Establishing objectives and providing strategic visions and guidance
  • Ensuring management beliefs and behaviours align with company standards and culture
  • Overseeing a team of 50+ staff and ensuring operating standards are executed
  • Leading operations planning for the IRC and overseeing implementation
  • Overseeing weekly operations review meetings and reporting on performance
  • Allocating resources to resolve issues
  • Participating in the selection and hiring process
  • Mentoring managers and providing competency-based feedback
  • Travel to site locations as needed
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of management experience in an automotive production environment (150+ vehicles weekly)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Proven track record of leading and developing associates
  • Ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics
  • Valid Canada driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Experience working with external vendors on budgeted timelines and cost
