Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Neutron Composite Technician to contribute to the development of the Neutron launch vehicle. This role involves working on pressurized tanks, unpressurized sections, and fairings for both S2 and S1 structures. The technician will collaborate with internal and external customers on test campaigns and component delivery, focusing on cost reduction and lean production principles.Rocket Lab's Neutron team is responsible for bringing new large rocket Neutron and its launch and test sites to life.What this role involves:
  • Focusing on pressurized tanks, unpressurized sections, and fairings.
  • Trialling new composite manufacturing methods.
  • Collaborating with internal and external customers on test campaigns.
  • Mitigating handling and logistic issues.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Prepreg manufacturing knowledge.
  • Experience in Core bond and Splicing.
  • Resin infusion knowledge.
  • Broad Industry manufacturing experience.
  • Basic I.T. skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
