Job Description
The Wow is seeking a Data QA Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring data quality within the data governance strategy. This individual will be responsible for the application and implementation of data quality specific aspects. The Data QA Engineer will interact with multiple stakeholders across the Group, including tech teams and product or business owners.

Role involves:
  • Developing and maintaining data quality monitoring frameworks.
  • Generating insightful reports and supporting Data Stewards.
  • Designing and developing automated data quality validation scripts.
  • Defining and monitoring key data quality metrics through data profiling.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of data quality issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data quality, with a focus on implementation and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of data quality methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong experience in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Selenium or similar testing tool.
  • Familiarity with Data Integration tools such as Apache NiFi and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with data quality and data governance tools and methodologies, including data validation and profiling.
  • Proficiency with documentation platforms like Confluence.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
