Rocket Lab is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team in Mahia, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. This role is integral to launch activities at Launch Complex 1 (LC-1), supporting Rocket Lab's high launch rate. The technician will work closely with a team of technicians and engineers to build, test, and maintain critical launch systems. They will report to the Electron team which is responsible for building, testing, and launching Electron rocket.
Responsibilities: - Play an integral part in all launch activities.
- Build, test and maintain critical launch systems.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers.
Requirements: - Current NZ electrical license with no restrictions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Computer literacy and basic programming understanding.
- Ability to read and follow detailed schematics, drawings, and instructions.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and assist.
- Confidence in decision-making under pressure.
