Job Description

Hill & Knowlton, a Burson Group Company, is seeking a motivated intern for their Public Affairs practice in The Netherlands. This internship offers a dynamic environment where the intern will support advisors on various tasks, gaining exposure to different aspects of public affairs within a leading communications firm. The intern will work for well-known brands at the intersection of politics, government, media, and business.

Role Involves:

• Monitoring national newspapers, magazines, and trade publications for political news.
• Monitoring the agendas of the Dutch Parliament.
• Following and reporting on debates in the Parliament.
• Conducting research using various databases and the internet.
• Identifying relevant political stakeholders and maintaining their information.
• Contributing to presentations and pitches for clients and prospects.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a relevant HBO or university program (e.g., political science, public administration).
• Strong interest in Dutch politics and relevant experience.
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Curiosity and knowledge of current political and social issues.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Availability for at least four days a week.
