Job Description
Smartsheet is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their sales team. The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for increasing software sales and driving expansion across a territory of accounts. The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate, and opportunistic, with a proactive and curious approach to identifying growth opportunities for clients.

The role involves:
  • Exceeding software and services sales quotas
  • Engaging and qualifying inbound leads and inquiries
  • Developing and prospecting new opportunities with existing customers in your territory
  • Building executive awareness, sales pipeline, and bookings growth within your territory
  • Balancing both solution-based sales processes along with high transactional business.
  • Tracking and utilizing key metrics in order to forecast sales opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce leveraging MEDDICC qualification guidelines

The candidate should have:
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in the software or technology sector
  • 1+ year experience managing and maintaining customer relationships in a B2B environment
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goal from assigned territory or set of accounts
  • Ability to prospect for cross-selling and up-selling potential within existing book of business
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Docusign, Outreach, Tableau
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts
  • Ability to deal well with adversity; remaining driven and resilient
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, B2 English Proficiency Level or higher
  • Degree in Publicity, Marketing, Sales or Business Administration preferred or relevant work experience in sales.
