Smartsheet, a company dedicated to helping teams achieve their goals through seamless work management and scalable solutions, is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive sales within a defined set of Global 2000 accounts. This role involves leading the execution of the company's strategic accounts sales strategy, focusing on executive engagement and delivering substantial growth in software and services bookings.
Responsibilities: - Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Forecast and manage a diverse pipeline.
- Provide account and selling team leadership.
- Create and maintain actionable account plans.
- Collaborate with internal experts and external partners.
- Drive positive customer experiences.
- Actively engage and sell to Line of Business, Functional Areas, and IT departments.
- Leverage MEDDICC during the sales process.
- Build and maintain relationships with VP+ and C-suite executives.
- Evangelize the functional and solution value of Smartsheet.
- Utilize data and PLG signals to drive sales strategies.
Requirements: - Proven experience in enterprise software solution sales.
- 5-10+ years of enterprise sales experience.
- Track record of consistently exceeding quota.
- Minimum of 3+ years tenure in previous roles.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and build demand.
- Strong experience in team-based strategic account planning.
- Enabled on a value selling methodology.
- Executive presence with proven ability to engage with VP+ and C-suite executives.
- Willingness to travel (30%-50%).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Data-driven with a focus on leveraging PLG signals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence and mental agility.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
