Vehicle Integration Engineer II

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II to contribute to the Neutron rocket program. This role involves the integration, testing, and launch of the Neutron launch vehicle. • Developing con-ops and designing ground support tooling and processes.
• Executing procedures for the integration of flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Supporting the Neutron Integration Manager in developing and enabling vehicle integration.
• Developing and refining inspection, repair, assembly, and system test procedures.
• Designing high-level vehicle maintenance architecture.
• Executing vehicle system level checkouts.
• Contributing to work procedures and documentation of non-conformances.
• Maintaining integrated planning documents.
• Designing and developing tools and hardware for vehicle processing.
• Developing, building, and maintaining Neutron processing facilities.
• Collaborating with management and technicians.
• Managing and tracking multiple priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in building and testing launch vehicle hardware.
• Proficiency in authoring work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to interface with multidisciplinary functions.
