Rocket Lab is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II to contribute to the Neutron rocket program. This role involves the integration, testing, and launch of the Neutron launch vehicle. What this role involves: - Developing con-ops and designing ground support tooling and processes.
- Executing procedures for the integration of flight hardware and ground support equipment.
- Supporting the Neutron Integration Manager in developing and enabling vehicle integration.
- Developing and refining inspection, repair, assembly, and system test procedures.
- Designing high-level vehicle maintenance architecture.
- Executing vehicle system level checkouts.
- Contributing to work procedures and documentation of non-conformances.
- Maintaining integrated planning documents.
- Designing and developing tools and hardware for vehicle processing.
- Developing, building, and maintaining Neutron processing facilities.
- Collaborating with management and technicians.
- Managing and tracking multiple priorities.
Requirements: - Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in building and testing launch vehicle hardware.
- Proficiency in authoring work instructions and procedures.
- Ability to interface with multidisciplinary functions.
