IT Project Expert (m/w/d)

Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization with over 65 years of experience, is seeking an IT Project Expert (m/w/d) to join their team in Halle/Westfalen, Germany. Simtra collaborates with over 60 international clients to bring sterile, injectable drugs to market, focusing on cancer therapeutics. With over 2,000 employees across two locations, Simtra offers a wide range of delivery systems and services.He/She will support the IT team in planning, implementing, and executing various IT projects, taking on coordinating and administrative tasks to contribute to project success.Role Involves:

• Independently initiating, planning, and monitoring IT projects.
• Supporting the IT team in communicating and executing IT projects.
• Monitoring and reporting project costs, milestones, and targets.
• Communicating and reporting to the global and local IT PMO.
• Collaborating with a counterpart in the US sister plant.
• Serving as an interface to local project teams and participating in planning meetings.
• Documenting recurring routine tasks and projects for tracking.

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or similar qualification; alternatively, a degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of IT project experience.
• Very good IT knowledge (MS Office, AD, IP networks, virtualization, scripting) and knowledge of project tools (e.g., Smartsheets, MS Project).
• Strong team and communication skills, as well as an independent, structured, and analytical approach to work.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
