Job Description

Tekion is seeking a Manager of Product Design to lead the design strategy and execution for its digital retail solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, with an eye for visual execution and experience leading high-performing design teams. This role involves defining and driving the design vision for digital retail products, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for consumers.Responsibilities include:

• Leading the design strategy and execution for digital retail solutions.
• Defining and advocating for user-centered design principles.
• Overseeing the creation of high-fidelity UI designs and design system components.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into design solutions.
• Conducting user research and usability testing.
• Establishing and maintaining design best practices.
• Mentoring and coaching a team of designers.
• Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience in product design, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience working on automotive digital retail solutions or complex B2C platforms.
• Understanding of service design methodologies.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.
• Proficiency in Jira or other project management tools.
