Cloud FinOps Analyst II

Job Description

Tekion is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst II to lead its cloud financial operations and cost optimization strategy. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to foster a culture of financial accountability, ensuring cost transparency and optimized cloud usage.

Role involves:

• Leading the implementation and evolution of FinOps practices.
• Developing frameworks for cloud cost governance, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analyzing cloud billing data to identify inefficiencies and recommend savings opportunities.
• Designing and maintaining cloud cost dashboards and reports.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive cloud cost accountability.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in FinOps, cloud finance, or infrastructure cost management.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Strong financial modeling and budgeting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills.
