Technical Program Manager II

Job Description

Tekion is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to manage Jira and support program management teams. Tekion is disrupting the automotive industry with its cloud-native platform, connecting the entire automotive retail ecosystem.This role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Jira, along with collaborating with stakeholders on strategic projects. The candidate will act as Scrum Master for scrum teams, focusing on improving the delivery of value. They will also work closely with the Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end program management across a multiple, cross-functional program landscape.

• Configuring and customizing Jira workflows, screens, fields, and issue types.
• Setting up and managing Jira boards, filters, dashboards, and reports using JQL.
• Troubleshooting Jira-related issues and providing timely resolution.
• Identifying inefficiencies in Jira usage and proposing improvements.
• Working closely with Agile teams to ensure Jira reflects best practices.
• Documenting Jira processes and providing training to users as needed.
• Supporting integrations between Jira and other tools.
• Acting as Scrum Master for scrum teams.
• Driving end-to-end program management.

Requirements:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master/Scrum practitioner working in an agile environment.
• Jira expertise.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Nuanced understanding of Agile methodologies & principles.
• Good working knowledge of Software Engineering practices [SDLC].
• Dashboarding with PowerBI, Tableau or other relevant tools.
• Jira Cloud Admin certifications are an added advantage.
• CSM, CAPM or similar certifications are an added advantage.
• BE (IT / CS) - preferred.
