Technical Program Manager II

Job Description

Tekion is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to oversee multiple complex projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery within scope and to the highest quality standards. The Technical Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, to drive the successful execution of Tekion's strategic initiatives.Role involves:

• Leading and managing multiple technical programs and projects from inception to completion.
• Partnering with Product/Engineering teams to ensure program roadmap.
• Communicating with cross functional teams and drive issue to resolution.
• Identifying and managing project dependencies, risks, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Driving continuous improvement in project management processes and practices.
• Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a Cloud-based SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex technical projects.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and SaaS products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a related role.
• Experience in a Cloud-based SaaS product company is highly desirable.
