Product Manager, Finance Applications

Anaplan is seeking a Product Manager for Finance Applications to join their team in London. Anaplan is focused on optimizing business decision-making through its leading scenario planning and analysis platform. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the applications for planning, forecasting, and reporting use cases. He will oversee the product lifecycle of specific applications, from concept to delivery. He will collaborate with Application Solutions Architects and Finance Product Management teams, guide and advise our Application Builders Team, and ensure the successful adoption and implementation of these applications by our GTM and Professional Services teams.

Role involves:

• Coordinating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific Finance Applications.
• Driving the delivery of Finance Applications incorporating the suite of Anaplan platform components.
• Gathering and prioritizing application requirements from internal/external SMEs and customers.
• Documenting and managing the application design, resourcing, workplan and critical paths, from approval to delivery.
• Collaborating with Anaplan QA Teams to develop test plans, automate testing processes, and identify and resolve defects.
• Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Finance Applications.
• Partnering with Anaplan’s Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Finance Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion.
• Supporting the creation of compelling conceptual demos and all supporting content including training, guides, play books to empower partners and internal teams.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Finance Applications, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in product management and application development, with a focus on finance-related software solutions. Ideally Anaplan platform experience.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and planning processes, methodologies, and systems with domain expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
