Job Description
Chainguard is seeking a motivated sales leader to manage a team of Account Executives. The Manager of Commercial Sales will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on acquiring new customers and building pipeline. This role reports to the Director of Commercial Sales and collaborates with cross-functional teams.

What this role involves:
  • Reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales
  • Focusing on territory planning and execution
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline
  • Fostering a collaborative environment
  • Building and improving processes for team member on-boarding
  • Driving alignment with supporting teams

Requirements:
  • Located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones
  • 5+ years of experience in selling a technical product
  • 1+ years of experience managing software sales teams
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC framework
  • Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team
