Job Description
The Agile Coach role at Jago involves enabling Development Teams towards continuous improvement, fostering a fun environment focused on delivering high-quality software. The Agile Coach will collaborate with 1-3 cross-functional agile product development teams, championing Scrum and lean principles. They will work closely with Engineers, product, design, people team and stakeholders, ensuring quality is built into the product.
What this role involves:
- Coaching team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
- Helping teams focus on creating valuable incremental outcomes.
- Increasing transparency around work and collaboration.
- Helping the team improve development practices.
- Ensuring Scrum events are productive and facilitate learning.
- Helping define Product Goals and manage the Product Backlog.
- Improving empirical product planning.
- Facilitating stakeholder collaboration.
- Building bridges between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.
- Removing impediments that prevent Scrum Teams from working well.
- Leading, training, and coaching the organization in Scrum adoption.
- Planning and advising Scrum implementations.
- Helping employees understand and enact an empirical approach.
Requirements:
- Enjoy reading books.
- Beginner's mindset.
- People First mindset.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with multicultural teams in product development from Product development, Engineering, or Organisation and teams transformation / Scrum Master background.
