Manager - DevOps

Job Description

Zenoti is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Manager to lead their team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, actively participating in technical implementation while setting strategic direction. He will establish and maintain DevOps best practices, architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, and troubleshoot complex production issues.Zenoti is looking for someone who can drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, optimize cloud costs, and serve as a technical mentor and DevOps evangelist.Responsibilities:

• Lead by example as a hands-on DevOps Manager
• Establish and maintain DevOps best practices
• Architect and contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
• Perform regular code reviews and pair programming sessions
• Troubleshoot complex production issues
• Create and maintain security-first deployment strategies and disaster recovery procedures
• Drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices
• Optimize cloud costs
• Serve as a technical mentor and DevOps evangelist

Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience and 2+ years leading technical teams
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in Terraform
• Proven experience building and managing infrastructure in Azure or AWS cloud platforms
• Advanced scripting abilities in Python and PowerShell
• Practical experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes cluster management
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
