PlayStation, a global leader in entertainment, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their team in Bristol, UK. This role involves working at the heart of the software development life cycle, creating plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating test and releases for PlayStation platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued success of Sony Interactive Entertainment by ensuring high-quality software releases.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate software test and release activities.
- Create project plans for software projects.
- Coordinate product test activities.
- Report progress to stakeholders.
- Work with teams to improve software testing processes.
- Manage internal projects to improve quality-of-life and external commitments.
- Contribute to improving project management and software development practices.
Requirements: - 5+ years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience managing several software development projects with medium to high risk and cost, involving multiple organizations and global sites.
- A track record of delivering projects on schedule.
- Experience managing multiple software development projects in parallel.
- Experience with change management and projects involving standardization.
- Experience using Agile methods in software development (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
