Rocket Lab is seeking a Composite CNC Operator to join their Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production of highly complex components for space missions. The role involves working in a clean environment, operating modern CNC equipment, including large-scale 5-axis mills.Key responsibilities include machine setting, fixture setup and alignment, work coordinate system setting, tool setting, and loading and measurement. The operator will also be responsible for program safety and accuracy through simulation and dry runs, in-process part inspection, and supporting Research and Development tasks.Rocket Lab offers the opportunity to contribute to ambitious space missions and work alongside skilled professionals.
  • Machine setting, fixture setup, and alignment
  • Setting work coordinate systems, tool setting, loading, and measurement

  • Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator, preferably with Composite Machining
