Job Description
Weber Shandwick is seeking a Vice President to join its Media Relations team within the Health Practice. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the media landscape, a knack for storytelling, and the ability to counsel clients on and execute integrated media relations strategies.Role involves:
- Serving as a key integrated team member and day-to-day client contact for strategic earned media campaigns.
- Developing media relations action plans, goals, and objectives.
- Generating story ideas and overseeing the development of media materials.
- Developing and leading corporate communications and executive visibility programs.
- Providing recommendations for content creation and distribution across multiple channels.
- Actively participating in agency development and assisting with new business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 8-10 years’ PR/communications experience.
- Media relations experience.
