Rocket Lab, a global leader in launch and space systems, is seeking an Avionics Production Manager to oversee the Components, Harnesses, and HV Batteries teams. This role is crucial for maintaining high-performance production teams that meet the growing customer demand for high-quality aerospace components. The Avionics Production Manager will work closely with the Production Director and engineering leaders to ensure production output meets required rates and quality standards.Role involves:
  • Managing three primary teams: Components, Harnesses, and HV Batteries.
  • Budget management for the departments.
  • Recruitment and capacity planning.
  • Ensuring quality and schedule adherence for production output.
  • Supporting R&D needs without compromising production schedules.
Requirements:
  • BE, BA, or BS degree in Operation Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of manufacturing experience in aerospace or related industries.
  • Experience leading and growing diverse teams.
  • Experience with work cell standard work management.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems.
