Rocket Lab, a global leader in launch and space systems, is seeking an Avionics Production Manager to oversee the Components, Harnesses, and HV Batteries teams. This role is crucial for maintaining high-performance production teams that meet the growing customer demand for high-quality aerospace components. The Avionics Production Manager will work closely with the Production Director and engineering leaders to ensure production output meets required rates and quality standards.Role involves:
- Managing three primary teams: Components, Harnesses, and HV Batteries.
- Budget management for the departments.
- Recruitment and capacity planning.
- Ensuring quality and schedule adherence for production output.
- Supporting R&D needs without compromising production schedules.
- BE, BA, or BS degree in Operation Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of manufacturing experience in aerospace or related industries.
- Experience leading and growing diverse teams.
- Experience with work cell standard work management.
- Demonstrated experience in change management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems.
