Senior Technical Product Manager I, Payment Platform

Zip is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to enhance their acquiring platform. The role involves optimizing payment flows and building new payment experiences across customer-facing products. The Senior Technical Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve unit economics, onboard new payment methods, and optimize conversion rates. This is a remote-first opportunity for US-based employees, with an option to work in-person in Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

• Operationalizing dynamic payment routing capabilities
• Improving unit economics and NTM
• Onboarding new payment methods
• Optimizing conversion rates through machine learning/AI
• Reducing customer friction throughout the repayment journey

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of product management experience within the fintech or payments industry
• Experience with card/bank payments and alternate payment methods
• Technical competency of payment processing
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent SQL knowledge
