EarnIn is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team, including backend and mobile engineers. This role is based in Mountain View, requiring hybrid work with 3 in-office days per week. The Engineering Manager will contribute to designing and developing early-stage innovative products, working with cross-functional partners to shape product direction and drive company growth.
What This Role Involves: - Partnering with product and engineering teams to improve business metrics and build new features.
- Driving the design and implementation of new product areas and features.
- Breaking down complex problems into elegant designs and creating high-quality, maintainable code.
- Guiding the team through ambiguity and ensuring technical excellence.
- Leading the team to launch MVPs quickly and iterate based on feedback.
- Recruiting engineers and mentoring team members.
- Managing cross-functional relationships to deliver high-quality products.
What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with some leadership experience.
- Experience in architecture, coding, and solving technical problems.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading a team that created high-quality output on critical infrastructure.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a get-it-done attitude.
