EarnIn is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team, including backend and mobile engineers. This role is based in Mountain View, requiring hybrid work with 3 in-office days per week. The Engineering Manager will contribute to designing and developing early-stage innovative products, working with cross-functional partners to shape product direction and drive company growth. What This Role Involves:
  • Partnering with product and engineering teams to improve business metrics and build new features.
  • Driving the design and implementation of new product areas and features.
  • Breaking down complex problems into elegant designs and creating high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Guiding the team through ambiguity and ensuring technical excellence.
  • Leading the team to launch MVPs quickly and iterate based on feedback.
  • Recruiting engineers and mentoring team members.
  • Managing cross-functional relationships to deliver high-quality products.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree in computer science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with some leadership experience.
  • Experience in architecture, coding, and solving technical problems.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading a team that created high-quality output on critical infrastructure.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a get-it-done attitude.
  • Ability to create a positive team environment.
