Job Description
Contentful is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to help customers understand the role of content in a modern composable digital landscape. The Senior Sales Engineer will work with Account Executives through key phases of the sales cycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, collaborative solution design sessions, interactive trials, and proofs of concept. They will build relationships with customer stakeholders to understand their needs and become a trusted advisor.
- Co-piloting sales opportunities with Account Executives.
- Understanding customers’ short-term and long-term digital objectives.
- Validating and illustrating how Contentful can help customers with digital transformation.
- Assisting with the completion of RFIs, RFPs, and Security questionnaires.
- Relaying product feedback from customers and implementation partners.
- Providing mentorship to other Sales Engineers.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a comparable field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
- 3-5 years of sales engineering experience, selling cloud solutions to Marketing, IT, and Development Audiences.
- Understanding of the Digital Marketing function and KPIs.
- Strong presentation skills.
- High degree of emotional intelligence.
- Intellectual curiosity for how technology drives change.
