Job Description
Thumbtack is seeking a Product Designer to join its Customer Growth team. This role focuses on enhancing web-based experiences and requires collaboration with various teams to drive business growth and improve the company's web presence. The Product Designer will contribute to website redesigns, experimentation, and top-of-funnel optimization. They will bring modern design sensibilities and a user-first approach to shape how customers discover and choose Thumbtack.
What this role involves:
- Crafting high-quality, responsive designs for desktop and mobile web.
- Owning the design for key projects within the Customer Growth team.
- Identifying and executing A/B testing opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate strategy into user experiences.
- Communicating design rationale through storytelling and visuals.
- Leveraging prototyping tools to validate hypotheses and refine interaction flows.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of consumer-facing web work.
- Strong interaction design fundamentals and visual design skills.
- Expertise in responsive web design and mobile web interaction patterns.
- Experience working with brand and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, SEO, and performance-driven design strategies.
- Success in driving growth through experimentation and A/B testing.
- Experience leading or contributing to website redesigns.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience using prototyping tools.
