Product Designer, Customer Growth

Thumbtack is seeking a Product Designer to join their Customer Growth team. This role focuses on enhancing web-based experiences and driving business growth through website redesigns and optimization.

The Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly designs that elevate Thumbtack's web presence. They will use their design expertise to improve how customers discover and choose Thumbtack.

What this role involves:

• Crafting high-quality, responsive designs for desktop and mobile web.
• Leading design for key projects within the Customer Growth team.
• Identifying and executing A/B testing opportunities.
• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, SEO, and Brand teams.
• Communicating design rationale through storytelling and visuals.
• Using prototyping tools to validate hypotheses and refine interaction flows.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of consumer-facing web work.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills.
• Expertise in responsive web design.
• Experience working with brand and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, SEO, and performance-driven design.
• Experience driving growth through experimentation and A/B testing.
• Experience leading website redesigns.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience using prototyping tools.
