Portfolio Data Analyst

Job Description

Addepar is seeking a Portfolio Data Analyst to join their Portfolio Data Feeds Team. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for integrating client portfolio data into Addepar’s portfolio management products. They will collaborate with data providers, internal partners, and engineering to enhance Addepar’s capabilities and coverage. The Portfolio Data Analyst will also work with product management on initiatives to improve data management and integration.

Role involves:

• Analyzing and onboarding portfolio data from various sources using tools like SQL and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Partnering with engineering, product management, and data operations to deliver data solutions.
• Working with 3rd party data providers to integrate their data into the platform.
• Developing data aggregations and functionality based on client and 3rd party content.
• Developing data-oriented workflow solutions and product improvements.
• Analyzing and developing solutions to improve data operations and content pipeline efficiency.
• Understanding Addepar’s products and clients and driving new opportunities.
• Contributing to the evolution of Addepar’s financial concordance solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with financial data and concepts.
• Experience with SQL.
• Domain-specific experience in wealth management and portfolio management (Stocks, bonds, securities, etc.).
• Technical skills preferred in Excel, SQL, Python, pyspark, Databricks, or other financial services systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for finance and technology.
• Experience in data analysis workflows and tools.
• Must be able to work from Pune office 3 days a week.
