Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer to join the Visualization team. This role focuses on building a next-generation visualization platform for a global customer base of Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers, and their clients. The successful candidate will be a senior technology leader comfortable in a greenfield space, innovating a scalable platform solution.
What This Role Involves:
- Architecting, implementing, and maintaining engineering solutions.
- Leading individual project priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and partners.
- Communicating technical ideas and setting project direction.
- Mentoring other engineers.
- Participating in the design and development of a strategic product.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Extensive software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js and modern frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency in backend development with Python or Java.
- Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake architectures.
- A strong ownership mentality.
- Passion for implementing standard processes with automation.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers.
- Experience in data processing and analysis using SQL, PySpark, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- A rapid learner with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
