Addepar is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Research Engineering Team in Edinburgh, UK. The successful candidate will collaborate with financial researchers to design, build, and optimize the next generation Research Platform. This role involves full-stack engineering, from React to Databricks, and requires a proactive individual who enjoys building new things and improving existing systems.Role involves:

• Full stack engineering, from React to Databricks
• Designing, architecting, prototyping, developing, releasing, iterating, and monitoring software
• Building new features and improving existing systems
• Collaborating with Researchers and Product Managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Full-stack engineering skills
• Experience with React, Python, PySpark, Databricks, AWS & AI
• Self-awareness and initiative
