Job Description
Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Independent Price Verification (IPV) to support valuation and pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and regulatory requirements, combined with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. Role involves:
- Analyzing and enhancing price verification processes.
- Assessing and refining models for fair value determination.
- Documenting business requirements for IPV-related enhancements.
- Analyzing large datasets to support IPV processes.
- Acting as a bridge between IPV, Risk, Product Control, and IT teams.
- Ensuring IPV processes adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to automate IPV workflows.
- Developing detailed documentation and test cases.
- Assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Independent Price Verification processes.
- Strong understanding of financial products and valuation techniques.
- Familiarity with pricing tools, market data sources, and valuation systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python).
- Knowledge of IPV frameworks, market risk, and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with FRTB and IFRS 13 requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications (CFA, FRM) are a plus.
