Business Analyst - IPV

Job Description

Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Independent Price Verification (IPV) to support valuation and pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and regulatory requirements, combined with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. Role involves:

• Analyzing and enhancing price verification processes.
• Assessing and refining models for fair value determination.
• Documenting business requirements for IPV-related enhancements.
• Analyzing large datasets to support IPV processes.
• Acting as a bridge between IPV, Risk, Product Control, and IT teams.
• Ensuring IPV processes adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to automate IPV workflows.
• Developing detailed documentation and test cases.
• Assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Independent Price Verification processes.
• Strong understanding of financial products and valuation techniques.
• Familiarity with pricing tools, market data sources, and valuation systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of IPV frameworks, market risk, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with FRTB and IFRS 13 requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (CFA, FRM) are a plus.
