Business Analyst or Project Manager (Change/Transformation) - Financial Services

Job Description

Capco is seeking a Business Analyst or Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in change management within the financial services or consulting industries. This role offers the opportunity to advise and deliver change projects, with long-term deployments and varied initiatives.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing, and driving the execution of project plans, as well as managing day-to-day project activities. They will also be accountable for project status reporting and escalating risks and issues to key stakeholders.

Role Involves:

• Developing project plans to deliver required business changes
• Managing project risk, issues, and dependencies
• Project status reporting and management information to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Life & Pensions, Financial Services including Capital Markets, Banking Fund Services and Asset Management
• Experience as a Change Manager within the Financial Services or Consulting Industries
• Experience working in large and complex change projects
• Proven delivery experience with different methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
• Experience in collaborating with project teams and stakeholders
• Extensive experience working in a financial services change environment
• Ability to understand existing processes and identify the impact of regulatory change
• Knowledge and practical experience of regulations including MIFID 2, Basel 3, UCITS, Dodd Frank, EMIR
• Excellent Communications and Stakeholder Management skills
• Strong team management skills
