ETRM Business Analyst - Power Trading

Job Description

Capco is seeking an ETRM Business Analyst with a strong background in power markets and ETRM systems to join their team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front and middle office and will play a crucial role in supporting trading operations, enhancing ETRM systems, and ensuring seamless integration with business processes.

The ETRM Business Analyst will collaborate with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements. He will design, develop, and implement ETRM solutions to support power trading activities. He will conduct detailed analysis of trading data, market trends, and risk factors to provide actionable insights. He will ensure the accuracy and integrity of trading data within the ETRM system.

Role Involves:

• Collaborating with traders, risk managers, and IT teams
• Designing, developing, and implementing ETRM solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the energy trading sector
• Strong understanding of ETRM systems
• Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and reporting tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
