IT Project Manager (bank/insurance)

Job Description

Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking an IT Project Manager to drive digital transformation in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will manage project resources, deliverables, budget, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed to stakeholders' satisfaction. This role involves hands-on participation in requirements workshops, solution reviews, and testing, as well as effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Assuming responsibility for project resources, deliverables, budget, and timelines.
• Ensuring projects are broken down into clear milestones.
• Reporting project status, forecasting, and budget to stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing project risks.
• Implementing and managing changes to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Managing relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.

Requirements:

• Solid PM experience in insurance or banking projects.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7-10+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Detailed knowledge of project management techniques, methods, and tools.
• Proven experience in Insurance or other financial services.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
