Job Description

Capco is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join their team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing, particularly using Selenium, and hands-on testing of Salesforce applications. This role involves designing and executing test strategies, building automation scripts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions in an Agile environment.

Role Involves:

  • Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and other testing tools.
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications.
  • Working closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs through to resolution using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Developing and maintaining reusable test automation frameworks and test data sets.
  • Ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements and prepare quality metrics and reports.
  • Continuously improving testing strategies and automation coverage.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software QA testing with at least 2 years in test automation using Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality and experience testing Salesforce apps (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom apps).
  • Solid experience with test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with tools like TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Strong scripting or coding skills in Java, Python, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
