Capco is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their team in Dallas, US. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, consulting, and technology, with a focus on delivering solutions to clients in the Finance and Energy markets. This role involves bridging the gap between user needs and system development, requiring a blend of analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities: - Preparing, facilitating, and documenting client meetings and workshops.
- Gathering, researching, and analyzing data to develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications.
- Creating business requirement documents (BRD’s) into use cases/functional specifications for customization.
- Documenting and explaining problems and working to resolve software defects.
- Analyzing, developing, and proposing enhancements to current business processes, reports, and applications.
- Conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries.
- Producing high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables.
Requirements: - 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Experience working for a management consulting firm desired.
- 2 - 4 plus years of SQL experience.
- 4 plus years of experience with Agile projects.
- Background in financial services or energy a plus.
- Experience interviewing client executives to gather and document business requirements.
- Process mapping experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience writing project proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree required; major in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business or Financial Engineering preferred.
- An advanced degree is desirable.
