Job Description
Capco is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their team in Dallas, US. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, consulting, and technology, with a focus on delivering solutions to clients in the Finance and Energy markets. This role involves bridging the gap between user needs and system development, requiring a blend of analytical, technical, and communication skills.Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, facilitating, and documenting client meetings and workshops.
  • Gathering, researching, and analyzing data to develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Creating business requirement documents (BRD’s) into use cases/functional specifications for customization.
  • Documenting and explaining problems and working to resolve software defects.
  • Analyzing, developing, and proposing enhancements to current business processes, reports, and applications.
  • Conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries.
  • Producing high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Experience working for a management consulting firm desired.
  • 2 - 4 plus years of SQL experience.
  • 4 plus years of experience with Agile projects.
  • Background in financial services or energy a plus.
  • Experience interviewing client executives to gather and document business requirements.
  • Process mapping experience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience writing project proposals.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; major in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business or Financial Engineering preferred.
  • An advanced degree is desirable.
