Job Description
Capco is seeking a Material Technician for a hybrid role in Rio de Janeiro. The Material Technician will be responsible for material classification, creation and adjustment of movement notes, interaction with technical areas, stock control and accuracy, and documentation and compliance.
Role Involves:
- Analyzing technical specifications, standards, and catalogs for correct item classification.
- Ensuring standardization and compliance with coding criteria and material families.
- Performing review and adjustments of incomplete or incorrect descriptions.
- Generating and updating Material Movement Notes in the system (SAP or equivalent).
- Validating information based on technical documents and physical movements.
- Correcting inconsistencies identified between system records and physical materials.
- Working with engineering, maintenance, and operational areas to ensure accuracy in the description and use of materials.
- Interpreting technical specifications and operational demands for correct classification or movement.
- Participating in alignment meetings to define criteria and clarify technical doubts.
- Supporting the identification of obsolete, duplicate, or inadequately classified items.
- Contributing to the organization and optimization of the warehouse based on reliable data.
- Conducting physical surveys when necessary.
- Maintaining organized and traceable records of movements and classifications.
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with the activities of the position.
- Technical course in logistics or mechanics or electrical or electronics, electrotechnics or mechatronics or automation or instrumentation or planning or administration or accounting, or other areas related to the specialty, provided that it is validated by the contractual management of Petrobras, with a certificate issued by an Educational Institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
- Regular registration in the respective body for supervising the exercise of the professional activity.
