Job Description

Capco Poland is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to join their team. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into efficient data structures, supporting various data platforms. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable, and well-governed data architecture within the financial sector.

Role involves:

• Translating business requirements into Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.
• Identifying appropriate relational design models.
• Participating in the mapping between Logical and Physical Data Models.
• Creating and managing models for large datasets sourced into Big Data platforms.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to prevent negative business impacts.
• Managing stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication and escalation protocols.
• Supporting strategic, long-term solutions over short-term workarounds wherever possible.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Modeler within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Familiarity with data dictionaries, data governance, and financial domains.
• Solid understanding of ER modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling.
• Strong SQL and Python scripting skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and precision.
