Job Description
Capco Poland is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join an international team working for a major global bank. The successful candidate will be a proactive and leading developer within the CAT platform, applying their experience in Front Office technology delivery on a loans analytics platform. This role involves working within the evolving framework of Financial Markets specifications and regulations to ensure the use of best-in-class technology.

Role Involves:
  • Building services with a framework and generic pattern mindset for scale.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining applications for development teams and front office users.
  • Implementing safe defensive coding and intelligent design.
  • Managing resource usage effectively.
  • Providing Production L3 support as required.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end software engineering with Java.
  • Proficiency with database integration tools (PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
  • Experience with caching (Hazelcast), ClickHouse, communication (Solace), and security (Hashicorp, SSO tokens, Kong integration).
  • Strong skills in developing scalable, real-time data processing solutions.
  • Experience with databases and data engineering workflows.
  • Experience with Front Office Banking IT (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
