Job Description
Prodigal is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Mumbai. Prodigal is reshaping the future of consumer finance with its Intelligence Engine platform. The ideal candidate will be curious, resilient, and passionate about experimentation and rapid iteration. They will apply AI concepts to solve business problems, leveraging SQL and data manipulation tools to work with complex datasets.
Role involves:
- Continuously optimizing the experimentation process.
- Applying AI concepts to solve business problems.
- Leveraging SQL and data manipulation tools to work with complex datasets.
- Building and interpreting models using tools like PySpark and ML-Flow.
- Writing clean, well-documented code.
- Evaluating and enhancing existing models.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in rapidly prototyping and testing ideas using large, complex datasets and SQL.
- Expertise in implementing and iterating on machine learning models and algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in leveraging data visualization techniques.
- Ability to swiftly deploy and iterate on AI solutions in cloud environments.
- Passionate about experimentation and embracing failure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at analyzing problems from multiple angles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Tier 1 colleges are preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and AI solutions development.
