Compliance Manager, Program Governance

Job Description

MAJORITY is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team in Miami, FL. MAJORITY is a mobile banking service for migrants. The Compliance Manager will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and help build a compliance program. The ideal candidate will be a strategic advisor to the business and develop strong policies, governance, and testing for a unique customer base. This is an in-person position based out of their Wynwood office in Miami, FL.

The role involves:

• Managing compliance program activities.
• Planning, organizing, and delivering on program calendar deliverables.
• Leading cross-functional efforts in response to company or partner needs.
• Partnering with third parties to understand requirements and deliver reporting.
• Synthesizing inputs to make effective critical judgments.
• Identifying and escalating issues as appropriate.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience managing compliance program activities.
• Ability to plan, organize and deliver on program calendar deliverables and ad hoc requests.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional efforts.
• Ability to partner with third parties.
• Ability to synthesize a broad set of inputs to make effective critical judgments.
• Ability to identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Close attention to detail.
