Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting Operations to lead a team focused on the revenue close and manage revenue systems. This role involves partnering with various departments to improve processes and meet customer expectations. The Senior Manager will report to the Director of Revenue Accounting and manage a team of approximately 6 professionals.

Role Involves:
  • Leading and developing the US revenue accounting team.
  • Overseeing product, SaaS, software, and professional service-related accounting.
  • Partnering with Sales, Commercial Controllership, Commercial Operations, and FP&A.
  • Managing the monthly and quarterly financial close process.
  • Setting and achieving key metrics for the team.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the company’s lead-to-cash cycle.
  • Drafting, implementing, and executing policies and system changes.
  • Conducting training for stakeholders and professionals.
  • Partnering with IT to develop system enhancement requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience leading revenue accounting teams.
  • Experience managing close auditors.
  • Experience with revenue close using a revenue engine.
  • Global public company experience subject to SOX regulation.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
  • History of implementing and enhancing operational technologies.
  • Proven ability to improve the financial close process.
  • Track record of recruiting and developing strong talent.
