Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their collaborative team. This role involves partnering with various departments to ensure accurate revenue and cost of goods sold. The Senior Revenue Accountant will have end-to-end ownership over key revenue streams, controls, and financial statement disclosures. They will also perform analytic review procedures, work with IT to build robust reporting, and validate proper accounting treatments.
Role Involves:
- Developing a deep understanding of the order-to-cash cycle.
- Performing monthly and quarterly analytic review procedures.
- Partnering with the information technology department to build robust reporting.
- Performing manual revenue allocations, modifications, and prospective modification analysis.
- Preparing and booking journal entries.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue a plus.
- Recent public accounting experience or revenue experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge working with ASC 606 compliance guidelines.
- Attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills.
- Salesforce and RevStream software knowledge are a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Sigma, SQL and other data analytics procedures are highly desirable.
