Job Description
Axon is seeking a GSOC Security Officer to join their Global Security Operations Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is vital in safeguarding Axon's operations and assets worldwide, ensuring a secure environment for employees, clients, and partners. The Security Officer will utilize advanced technology to monitor and respond to security incidents.
Role Involves:
- Monitoring alarms (fire, door, duress) and answering routine/emergency calls.
- Monitoring CCTV to protect the building and assets, preventing crime.
- Responding to life safety incidents and dispatching security personnel.
- Creating dispatch records and incident reports.
- Collaborating with the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Monitoring media for events impacting operations, facilities, and employees.
- Troubleshooting technical issues with security systems.
- Participating in projects related to the GSOC role.
- Monitoring live AB4 body camera footage.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Familiarity with security CCTV monitoring systems and protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple lines of communication and multitask.
- Basic proficiency with surveillance and alarm systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
