Job Description
Axon is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join their team in Dietzenbach, Germany. This role is crucial for enhancing product performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Customer Quality Engineer will collaborate with Product, Sales, and Support teams to resolve product quality issues, support user acceptance testing, and provide hands-on training to customers. They will also be involved in hardware swap programs, ensuring Axon's solutions meet the highest standards in the field.

The role involves:
  • Acting as a first responder to assist with quality issues at customer sites.
  • Diagnosing root causes of quality issues and ensuring appropriate disposition of defective materials.
  • Identifying problems and opportunities in the customer's process and recommending product/process quality improvements.
  • Serving as the Axon quality representative in the field, providing guidance and training to customers.
  • Acting as a liaison between internal and external customers, communicating findings to customers and Axon technical teams.
  • Proactively addressing quality issues within the assigned territory.
  • Supporting QA to drive RMA and warranty metrics.

Requirements:
  • Engineering technical degree required.
  • >2 years’ experience in troubleshooting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and form relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Six-Sigma/Lean certification is desirable, or ability to be certified.
  • Personal computer skills with standard software systems (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT especially) are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in logical, data-driven problem solving.
  • National and international travel, 50%, required.
