Operations Program Manager (Onsite)

Job Description

Axon is seeking an Operations Program Manager to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is crucial for driving capacity expansion to support the development and release of next-generation De-escalation Devices. The Operations Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage manufacturing capacity expansion related to sustaining product lines, manufacturing integration resulting from mergers and acquisitions, or new product introduction. Axon is a company focused on protecting life through its ecosystem of devices and cloud software.What this Role Involves:

• Overseeing and driving cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with product design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Creating detailed documentation, including statements of work, test plans, and operating procedures.
• Guiding the commissioning and validation of automation equipment.
• Continuously improving automation equipment designs and processes.
• Tracking and driving all actions to ensure factory readiness.
• Coordinating design of automated equipment and assembly/test fixtures and equipment.
• Creating build schedules and driving the execution of qualification builds.
• Preparing and managing presentations and reports to high level management.
• Performing data analysis and interpretation of test results.
• Creating and/or driving Design of Experiments (DOE) development and coordination.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of factory operations management and/or program management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field.
• Strong collaboration & communication skills.
• Experience in bringing teams together to achieve common goals.
• Takes initiative & drives results for complex, multi-functional activities in dynamic and fast-paced projects.
• Be reliable in executing and delivering results.
