Job Description
Dedrone, an Axon company, is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive growth within small and mid-sized police departments, corrections, universities, and some large state agencies across the West, TOLA, and Central US. This role focuses on full-cycle sales, including identifying and qualifying prospects, managing outreach, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals across Dedrone’s portfolio of Airspace Security solutions.
    Role Involves:
  • Prospecting and generating pipeline through outbound calls and email campaigns
  • Qualifying leads and uncovering pain points related to drone threats
  • Conducting product demonstrations tailored to small departments
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from first contact to contract close
  • Collaborating with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success
  • Maintaining accurate Salesforce records and providing forecasting updates
  • Identifying creative funding paths to enable purchases
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to small agencies
    Ideal Candidate Has:
  • 5-7 years of technology or public safety sales experience (SaaS or hardware preferred)
  • Proven ability to sell into small agencies with limited budgets
  • Strong consultative selling and communication skills
  • Familiarity with public safety funding mechanisms and procurement cycles
  • A self-starter mindset with a passion for protecting communities
