Senior Software Engineer, Privacy

Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Privacy team. This role involves building software to support Axon's privacy mission and contributing to architectural decisions for privacy tools and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud services, privacy-enhancing technologies, and system design. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor other engineers.Role involves:

• Designing, building, and maintaining back-end systems and services for privacy and data compliance.
• Participating in design reviews and making technology decisions.
• Triaging product or system issues and resolving them.
• Mentoring other engineers.
• Working with open-source technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems.
• Experience with integrating 3rd party solutions to internal systems and services.
• Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, Python, or similar language
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
