Senior Product Manager II, APX

Job Description

Axon is seeking a Senior Product Manager II to join their Axon Platform X (APX) team. This role focuses on scaling and enhancing the Axon Cloud through AI and automation innovations. The Senior Product Manager II will partner with other teams at Axon to align APX with their cloud needs, ensuring world-class quality for both internal and external customers. The role involves collaboration with industry cloud partners and colleagues across different teams and geographies.Responsibilities include:

• Understanding the needs and pain points of engineering teams and translating them into actionable requirements.
• Prioritizing and managing the backlog of features and enhancements.
• Communicating and aligning the platform vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Defining and tracking key metrics and success criteria.
• Providing guidance and support to platform engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with external partners to align capability roadmaps and delivery plans.

Requirements include:

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Engineering leader.
• Strong knowledge of platform technologies, including AI/ML pipelines, virtual networking, Kubernetes, and data streaming.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Passion, curiosity, and a customer-centric mindset.
